About Aigua

Aigua makes music using the beautiful melodies from the Mediterranean with great grooves of Brazil and Latin America. 

 

Founded by Alper Tuzcu from Istanbul, Turkey and Bruna Lucchesi from Curitiba, Brazil, their music discovers the connections between America and Europe. As a multi-cultural duo, Aigua tells the stories from different cultures that can appeal to anyone in the world, by bringing a new perspective to well known styles like samba, bossa nova or cumbia from South America and flamenco, fado and rebetiko from the Mediterranean basin.

Aigua also collaborates with many artists from different cultures including guest vocalists, violins, darbuka, and many other percussions from various cultures. ​
